structuring strategic priorities for a scaling startup

Project Management
Operations

The Challenge

As Soulful Synergy LLC, a minority-owned workforce development agency, entered a new phase of growth, their expanding team and evolving business landscape made clear the need for stronger strategic planning. While the leadership team had ambitious goals, they lacked the operational systems and structure to break those goals down into actionable, trackable work.

The Solution

en collaboration avec partnered with Soulful Synergy to build the operational framework they needed to drive execution—without overloading leadership. Together, we:

  • Developed a strategic plan and defined company priorities for the next 3–6 months, creating clarity around focus areas

  • Established a management structure for goal delegation, including defined swimlanes, accountability pathways, and cadence for regular planning check-ins

  • Aligned the broader team by level-setting on the company’s current landscape, communicating top-down priorities, and gathering input through inclusive feedback sessions

To move from strategy to action, we provided hands-on support through:

  • Custom templates to visually map company structure and clarify ownership across departments

  • Facilitation of key meetings, including leadership strategy sessions and full-team meetings to assign responsibilities and build alignment

  • Work group oversight, including weekly meeting structures and real-time task execution support

The Impact

By project’s end, the company had a clear, actionable plan with defined ownership across the organization. Priorities were mapped, tasks were distributed, and work groups were primed to meet weekly and move initiatives forward. Most importantly, the leadership team was able to step back from daily execution and focus on long-term strategy—confident their team had the structure to succeed.

en collaboration avec built the systems. Soulful Synergy kept building toward their mission.
